Who says Christmas Break ends when you're out of school? My boss is letting me take all of next week to go to Oregon. That means beautiful grey skies, a huge new Ikea, delicious seafood, a couple Shari's runs, and some of the best people in the world for seven wonderful days!
I've had a great Oklahoma week, though. Of course, a week that includes a live song dedication from Into the Pensieve is bound to be fantastic. Combine that with new red shoes, a few meals with good friends, and Josh not having to constantly study for the next couple weeks, and things are looking pretty bright. Of course, it also helps that I have sound back on my computer and don't have to spend my work days in silence anymore. It only took 3 hours and twenty minutes on the phone with HP and Microsoft to fix - man, it was worth it!
